I give it two stars as the construction is very good and it also has a remote control which is quite useful. Beyond that, it is not worth the money nor is it worth buying, because it does not cool a small room by putting in 3 ice packs and ice cubes with cold water.... It blows (cold) air for about half an hour and that's it... After that, it is just a (good) fan....

It does what it promises, it brings you cold air as long as the water is cold. I bought 2 additional ice packs and in the hot days over 40 degrees, I put ice directly in the tank with a little water.

I tried it last summer and I can say that for a bedroom it was good. It can lower the temperature up to 3 degrees and rarely up to 4. For me, it is quite quiet. However, it is not of good quality at all, as it is made entirely of plastic, so it is not worth the 100€ it costs. It has caused problems for many people, as it smells burnt in the room, and for others, it produces humidity in the room. I didn't experience any of these issues since I used it actively every day for 14 hours or until the tank needed to be changed, which takes about 5 hours. Also, you have to clean it to prevent it from releasing water with a bad smell. I would prefer clearer instructions and maybe some videos, and I would prefer it to be a bit taller.

I bought it last year and it worked all summer. I mainly used it as a fan (slightly cooler air than a regular fan I had before) because with the cool function, after a while, it would fill the room with humidity and I couldn't breathe. This summer, it worked 3-4 times and then it started to smell like something burnt. I discussed it with a friend of mine who had bought the same one for her children's rooms and she told me that one of the two they had bought had a burnt fan and they replaced the whole air cooler with their warranty. Fortunately, when I went, they didn't have the same one, so I used that amount to buy something else.

It is something in between a fan and an A/C. I would say it is more like a cooler fan. However, it creates a lot of humidity in the house with the water it consumes to cool the air.

I only use it with ice and in combination with the air conditioner in another room, and it is excellent

Okay, you don't get it as an air conditioner, when it has ice, it releases cold air. Where I had it and for the work I wanted it for, it worked decently. Three bags of ice per day in continuous operation did well.

It does the job as you will get cool air with the ice cubes in the water. It increases the humidity in the room quite a bit. At night, if you don't select the "COOL" option with the water inside its tank, it will release additional humidity without cool air, as the water will have warmed up. I think that with a large, good fan, you can do a better job.

DO NOT BUY IT, it's a waste of money.

For a short period of time and for a small space, it cools down. Unfortunately, you have to refill the water and change the ice packs (top and bottom) every 1 to 2 hours.

It is a fan that does not cover a large area, meaning you have to have it right above you to feel any breeze. You definitely need extra ice packs because the ones it comes with don't freeze anything. If you put cold water and 2 ice packs in the box and one on top (coolbox), then maybe it will do some work in the heat.
I used it for a month and it did nothing, in fact it made noise at the highest setting and the blinds would fall off on their own, so I had to put something to keep them in place.
Almost 100 euros (+ shipping) for nothing, I got a regular fan for 30 euros and it does the job.

If you want a relatively cheap device to cool down a room, don't buy it. The water lasts for several hours, but the ice not so much. However, in the area where it is directed, it cools down. Perhaps the worst purchase I have made. It may be good for its type, but as a technology, I really don't know if it helps with anything. It cools locally, but it raises the humidity of the rest of the space so much that it ends up feeling like a sauna. Maybe it's only worth it for outdoor use as a water fan. After a week, I switched back to my old mini air cooler that cools locally without heating up the rest of the space.

Very good tool for those who can understand what it offers. From me, four stars because I wanted it to be even quieter as the night mode is very bad and noisier than the regular mode on the first level. It is a very good air cooler that brings coolness to a fixed point. It is ideal for sleep, reading, eating, but it does not cover a whole room due to its limited air emission range. If someone gets it for a fixed point, it is amazing because it brings you cool air. For sleep, if you have it near you on the first level, it is fine and relatively quiet. I was lucky and tested it before buying it, as the local electronics store in Zografou had it outside on the sidewalk to cool down customers. It is exactly what I need. I definitely did not want an air conditioner. It is a fan that blows cool air. Nothing less, nothing more. Where it blows, it cools. Personally, I did not see a change in room temperature unless it runs for many hours. I am concerned about being cooled where I sit.
I put cold water, ice packs, ice, whatever I have, and the colder the water remains, the colder the air it produces. In very hot weather, the water warms up faster and needs to be changed frequently. It also adds humidity to the room, but for me, it is not a problem as I always have the window slightly open.
Obviously, it depends on each person's needs. Personally, I have recommended it to all my friends. I had a big problem with the heat in the house during the afternoon hours, and now I don't think about it at all. A big burden has been lifted off me.

It works better in low humidity areas and it's a bit of a hassle to fill it with ice and water and remove the filter to clean it and let it dry (every 2 weeks according to the instructions).

Power consumption is equivalent to a television or an old incandescent bulb and maybe less than 10% of an air conditioner.

It seems well-built and overall good value for money although it could have been €15-20 cheaper, I bought it for €100 (including shipping)
