Normally I would give 4, but I believe the product is being badmouthed by spoiled customers. Yes, terrible lighting, pointless. I have it with Greek characters. It collects quite a bit of dust and hair.
But it suited me from the first day. It’s like a good kitchen knife or the wands in Harry Potter. You have to find the right one for you. So mine is my favorite at €10! Nothing can beat it, but compared to it.
Go to some store that has everything out loose to test them (e.g. Mediamarkt, Public) and then buy whatever you want.
You press a button, leave it, and it continues to be pressed by itself very often, there is no "J" button instead it came with 2 "K" buttons and the whole construction is crooked resulting in it wobbling when you press a button because one of the two sides is in the air
Nothing special. It does not have good construction, do not expect anything sturdy and strong. Also, the buttons do not emit light from the inside, so in the dark you cannot see which button you are pressing. If it falls 1-2 times, it may break. However, for 8€ there is nothing better if you just built your pc and do not want to spend money on a keyboard right away. It does its job and is good for some gaming. It is worth it only for the money, in no other case does it have anything noteworthy.
good price nice keyboard but? it doesn't have Greek letters written on the keys I didn't notice it well otherwise I wouldn't have bought it ever...
The keyboard is generally good, the keys are a bit noisy and the lighting, although nice, completely darkens the keys, making it difficult to see the letters and causing you to press the wrong keys, rendering it useless. The lights on the known buttons, such as scroll lock, exist but do not work. Other than that, it does its job perfectly fine with the lighting turned off!!!
2nd update after years: I have now moved on to customized mechanical keyboards and obviously there is no comparison with this one. However, the 2 Lamtechs I had never had any problems and for the €10-€15 they cost, they served me more than well. It is fully plastic but that's not something that bothers or causes problems during use.
Update after several months of use: It still works perfectly and I continue to be impressed by its typing feel. I also have a €100 Logitech MX Keys for comparison and I prefer to work on the €15 Lamtech. Buy it without hesitation.
Original review: I tried it by chance in a store and was impressed by how good the feel and nice sound of the keys were, even compared to much more expensive mechanical keyboards that were there. At its price, I bought it without a second thought and indeed it makes typing very pleasant. I use it for typing text, I have no opinion for gaming.
Minus 1 star because its lighting is not only tacky but also completely useless, since the light does not pass through the keys to be visible in the dark, it's only for effect. Fortunately, it can be turned off and I have it permanently off. Also on the downside is that it does not have indicator lights for caps lock, num lock, etc.
The keys are not illuminated, but the background under the keys! In the dark, the characters on the keys are not visible.
The keyboard generally has a pretty good feel for typing text and gaming.
So far, the only downside I have found is that the spacebar, if not pressed in the middle (if you press it towards the side of the ALT key), gives the feeling that something is sticking, which is very annoying.
Its lighting does not make the keys distinguishable in the dark and therefore is only decorative.
As for the RGB, it does not provide monochromatic options, making the keyboard a bit cluttered, and with the combination of the two, I had to completely disable the lighting.
A big drawback for me (as I type a lot) is the absence of the menu button, which has been replaced with the lighting button.
It is good for simple, simple, simple use, but not for gaming.
It also has a Greek keyboard.
Its RGB lighting is only for staying on in the room for effects and to create a nice atmosphere at night when the PC is not in use, for example when listening to music.
When using the PC, you have to turn off the lighting because it does not have illuminated keys (only backlighting) and you can't see anything at all, whether it's day or night, which is why I give it 3 stars.
I believe that for ten euros it's a great deal. I've had it for a month and I think it's worth it. The sound on the keys is nice, simple, strong, and clear. The lighting is not tiring, you can turn it off and on with the button on the right. Overall, it's very good and worth its money, you won't regret it. It's sturdy in general, the only problem I have is that the company's name is written on it, but that's purely my problem. It's worthy of a 40 euro keyboard
