This book explores the historical and, primarily, the theological prerequisites of Islamic radicalism that simultaneously document jihad. It examines the main proponents of the relevant arguments, al-Banna, Qutb, and Mawdudi, various Islamic organizations, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, which influenced the respective developments, as well as the more recent extremist Islamists who contributed to the unconditional and limitless evolution of Islamic terrorism. The analysis of the profile of Muslim extremists, as well as the description of the stages of Islamic radicalization, significantly contribute to a comprehensive understanding of this global phenomenon.

As argued in the book, Islamic radicalism and jihadists will only be effectively addressed by the Muslims themselves. Ideal solutions will emerge from an Islamic awakening and reassessment based on the Quran and other dimensions of Islamic reality. Otherwise, any external initiatives and changes risk being loudly rejected by the insurmountable crisis of Islamic consciousness. After all, military or other violent solutions will only yield superficial results, while in the long term, they will cause permanent irreparable damage.
