I wanted to write about this product for a while in order to warn potential buyers, and I was planning to give it 2 or 3 stars. I bought this attachment to replace the nozzle of my Rowenta RO6331 Silence Force, which was leaving oil stains on my carpet and couldn't move forward at all. I chose the most expensive universal attachment I could find to make my job as hassle-free as possible. Unfortunately, I didn't see any significant difference.
Firstly, the connection is made with a hose that narrows down (photo 1) and there is no other fastening mechanism. My vacuum cleaner, which has a safety lock on the hose, struggles to fit there and the attachment often comes off without much effort.
Furthermore, this attachment glides smoothly forward on the carpet but often has trouble moving backward. If you don't give it a good angle, it gets stuck and only rolls on the wheel it has at the "heel". With a little practice, these instances can be reduced, and that's the only reason I didn't return to using the original nozzle.
However, yesterday, a plastic piece behind the heel, like a small wing (photo 2), left marks on my carpet after applying some force while vacuuming and keeping the hose low. These marks cannot be removed. One of the two marks can be seen in the photo. Essentially, the plastic melted due to the pressure on the carpet and got damaged! So, one star, and let's say it "earns" it because it has endured some good hits, but it seems durable.
DISAPPOINTING
Ήθελα καιρό να γράψω για αυτό το προϊόν ώστε να το αποφύγουν οι πιθανοί αγοραστές και σκόπευα να βάλω 2 ή 3 αστέρια.
Το πέλμα αυτό το πήρα για να αντικαταστήσω το μανίσιο μιας Rowenta RO6331 Silence Force, το οποίο στο χαλί μου έβγαζε το λάδι μιας και δεν πήγαινε προς τα μπροστά με τίποτα. Επέλεξα το πιο ακριβό universal πέλμα που βρήκα ώστε να κάνω τη δουλειά μου όσο πιο απροβλημάτιστα γινόταν. Δυστυχώς δεν είδα σπουδαία διαφορά.
Αρχικά, η σύνδεση γίνεται με μία σωλήνα η οποία στενεύει (φωτό 1) και κανένα άλλο κούμπωμα κλπ. Η δική μου σκούπα που έχει μια ασφάλεια στη σωλήνα, δυσκολεύεται να προσαρμοστεί εκεί και πολλές φορές βγαίνει το πέλμα, χωρίς ιδιαίτερο κόπο.
Έπειτα, το πέλμα αυτό στο χαλί κυλάει όμορφα προς τα μπροστά αλλά πολλές φορές προβληματικά προς τα πίσω, αν δε δώσεις καλή κλίση σηκώνεται σούζα και πατάει μόνο πάνω στη ρόδα που έχει στη "φτέρνα". Με λίγη προπόνηση μειώνονται αυτές οι φορές και αυτός είναι ο μόνος λόγος που δεν επέστρεψα στο μανίσιο πέλμα.
Κακώς όμως γιατί εχθές, ένα πλαστικό που έχει πίσω από τη φτέρνα, σαν μικρό πτερύγιο (φωτο 2), μετά από λίγη δύναμη που έβαλα στο σκούπισμα του χαλιού που φαίνεται και κρατώντας χαμηλά τη σωλήνα, μου άφησε σημάδια στο χαλί τα οποία και ΔΕΝ βγαίνουν. Το ένα από τα δύο φαίνεται και στη φωτό. Ουσιαστικά έλιωσε το πλαστικό από τη δύναμη πάνω στο χαλί και το χάλασε! Οπότε ένα αστέρι και ας πούμε πως το "κερδίζει" επειδή έχει φάει κάποια καλά χτυπήματα αλλά φαίνεται ανθεκτικό.
