Self-Cleaning Main Supply Filter

Self-cleaning main supply filter by Atlas Filtri Hydra 1/2″ RAH 90μm. It is made from non-toxic materials, suitable for drinking water. It is installed at the main water supply (at the meters). It features a filtering mesh made of INOX AISI 316.

Advantages of Self-Cleaning Filters

  • No cleaning or filter change is required that would interrupt the water supply to your network. Simply open and close the valve for a moment.
  • During the release, a reverse flow is performed for better cleaning and removes particles from the outlet.
  • The water supply to your network is not interrupted even during cleaning.

  • Pressure up to 8 bar
  • Maximum temperature 45°C

    I have had it for three years compared to two others from the same company with thread 40 and 10 mm. I believe it does nothing. I have never seen it get dirty. Even when I take it out, I wash it by hand and it stays exactly as it was before. The next ones in 45 days are full of mud and brown.

    It does not hold mud, only what is in pebbles or soil. The water comes out brown. Presumably, a filter with thread holds the mud. The filter self-cleaning is very easy.
