I cannot speak about the quality of the water, if the filter actually does what it claims. I can only say the following: I never liked water, as a child I would only drink it from the fridge. As I grew up, I preferred to make coffee or tea, or I would drink soda. However, ever since we installed it in our house a year ago, the difference became immediately noticeable. The water now has a nice taste! So, at the age of 46, I started drinking water and enjoying it! Truly a purchase that was worth its money. We bought it on Black Friday and it was quite affordable. Now, on Black Friday, I will also buy the replacement filters that last for a year.
As for practical matters now. The filter has not presented any problems in its use. I even use filtered water for cooking. The faucet, of course, does not have a strong pressure like the regular kitchen faucet. At first, I won't hide that it annoyed me a bit when I had to fill the pot for pasta and had to wait holding the pot in my hands for so long. However, after a while, on one hand, I got used to it (or rather accepted it), on the other hand, I managed to do my own thing and I no longer need to hold anything. I simply place what I want to fill with water underneath and while it fills, I do something else.
Lastly, I would like to add an observation regarding the ice maker we have at home. Every summer, the water that remained at the bottom when it emptied had little stones in it and looked dirty, and its walls had that white powder that ice cubes leave when they melt. In other words, I hated seeing it and every time before refilling it, I would clean it. This summer, when the ice maker worked exclusively with filtered water, I haven't needed to clean it at all. I look at the bottom when it empties and I see clean water! And the ice cubes in the glass no longer leave any whiteness...
Personally, I am very happy with my filter...
Δεν μπορώ να μιλήσω για την ποιότητα του νερού, αν όντως το φίλτρο κάνει αυτά που λέει. Μπορώ να πω μόνο τα εξής: Το νερό δεν μου άρεσε ποτέ, από παιδάκι το έπινα μόνο από το ψυγείο. Οταν μεγάλωσα, προτιμούσα να φτιάξω καφέ ή τσάι ή θα έπινα αναψυκτικό. Εδώ και ένα χρόνο όμως, που το εγκαταστήσαμε στο σπίτι, η διαφορά έγινε αμέσως αισθητή. Το νερό έχει πλέον ωραία γεύση! Ετσι, ξεκίνησα στα 46 μου να πίνω νερό και να το ευχαριστιέμαι! Πραγματικά μια αγορά που άξιζε τα λεφτά της. Το πήραμε black friday και ήταν αρκετά οικονομικό. Πλέον, black friday θα αγοράζω και τα ανταλλακτικά φίλτρα που κρατάνε για ένα χρόνο.
Οσον αφορά στα πρακτικά θέματα τώρα. Το φίλτρο δεν μου έχει παρουσιάσει κανένα πρόβλημα στη χρήση του. Ακόμα και στο μαγείρεμα χρησιμοποιώ νερό φίλτρου. Το βρυσάκι βέβαια δεν έχει μεγάλη πίεση όπως η κανονική βρύση της κουζίνας. Στην αρχή δεν κρύβω ότι με ψιλοεκνεύριζε όταν έπρεπε να γεμίσω την κατσαρόλα για τα μακαρόνια και έπρεπε να περιμένω τόσην ώρα κρατώντας την κατσαρολάρα στα χέρια. Μετά από λίγο καιρό όμως, αφενός το συνήθισα (ή μάλλον το αποδέχτηκα), αφετέρου έκανα τα κουμάντα μου και πλέον δεν χρειάζεται να κρατάω τίποτα. Απλά ακουμπάω κάτω αυτό που θέλω να γεμίσω νερό και μέχρι να γεμίσει κάνω κάτι άλλο.
Τέλος, να προσθέσω μια παρατήρηση που αφορά στην παγομηχανή που έχουμε σπίτι. Κάθε καλοκαίρι, το νερό που έμενε κάτω κάτω όταν άδειαζε, είχε μέσα σαν πετραδάκια και φαινόταν σα βρώμικο και τα τοιχώματά της είχαν αυτή την άσπρη σκόνη που αφήνουν τα παγάκια όταν λιώνουν. Κοινώς, το σιχαινόμουν που το έβλεπα, και κάθε φορά πριν το ξαναγεμίσω το καθάριζα. Φέτος το καλοκαίρι που η παγομηχανή δούλεψε αποκλειστικά με νερό φίλτρου δεν έχει χρειαστεί να την καθαρίσω καθόλου. Κοιτάζω κάτω κάτω όταν αδειάζει και βλέπω καθαρό νερό! Και τα παγάκια στο ποτήρι δεν αφήνουν πια ασπρίλα...
Προσωπικά, είμαι πολύ χαρούμενη με το φίλτρο μου....
