      The WORST purchase I have made!
      I have had it for a month and I don't know how much plastic I have consumed! I have cleaned it many times with vinegar/soap/lots of water and many hours of use!
      The "plastic smell" doesn't go away at all.
      The whole house smells like plastic! I had to replace it with one from Vicko! At least it makes coffee and smells like coffee!

I ran it 10 times with plain water, washed it with soap and then ran it about 10 more times with a 50-50 vinegar-water solution to freshen it up a bit. That is the only downside.
