The Ultracarb SuperCarb® filter is a combination of a ceramic filter and a compact activated carbon filter. It is externally made of ceramic material with a permeability of 0.5 μm, which has been impregnated with silver, and internally made of compact activated carbon. 

It helps combat the growth of bacteria, filters out chlorine, organic and volatile compounds, unpleasant taste and odor, etc., and removes heavy metals from water, such as lead.
