The adidas Superstar are today the ultimate street shoes. Born on the basketball courts of the '70s. Loved by the Hip-Hop scene of the '80s. This specific product is made from recycled materials and is part of adidas' commitment to end plastic waste. 20% of the upper parts are made with at least 50% recycled material.

Iconic design

From the courts to the streets, adidas Superstar has been uniting creators for 50 years. The three signature adidas stripes with serrated edges and the Superstar logo frame add authenticity to your look.

Unique details

They retain the famous shell toe, providing protection and style. Just like they did on the basketball courts of the past. Now you won't be afraid of getting stepped on at a concert or during your walk.

Origin

Adidas first released the Superstar on the basketball court in 1970. The groundbreaking technology of these shoes with the characteristic shell-toe at the front gained recognition among NBA professional basketball players, and it's easy to see why the adidas Superstar became popular with the masses. The Superstar was the first shoe on the court to have the next level of traction and durability compared to the basketball shoes of the time, while remaining lightweight and flexible, making it a favorite of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Favorites from the '80s Hip-Hop Scene

The shoe made an easy transition from the court to the street and even inspired the well-known Hip-Hop group of the time, Run-DMC, in 1986. It is considered one of the most famous sneakers to this day.
