If you have high levels of nitrates in your area, then this filter is ideal for you. It consists of 50% activated carbon and 50% special nitrate reduction resin, in order to reduce harmful substances from the water and remove nitrates.

If you have very high levels of nitrates in your area, then you should use a dual filter, where the first stage has a nitrate filter and the second stage has an activated carbon filter.

Compatible with:

  • The filter consists of 50% activated carbon and 50% resin for reducing salts
  • Reduces pesticides, herbicides, trihalomethanes, residual chlorine, total organic carbon, industrial organic compounds (tetrachloroethylene, trichloroethylene), dissolved organic compounds, organic color, dissolved iron, manganese, nitrate NO3
  • Significantly improves the taste and odor of water
  • Effectively reduces nitrates
  • The permissible limit for nitrates in Greece is 50mg/L. If the water runs at normal flow and pressure, then this filter will last for 1000 liters of drinking water and will reduce nitrate levels to 0 or at most up to 5mg/L
