Modern filters filled with activated carbon from coconut shells, effectively remove unwanted contaminants from the water and improve the taste and smell of the water.

GAC filters contain high-quality granular activated carbon certified by NSF. The size of the granules allows for maximum pollutant adsorption performance. The water flows along the filter (upwards), which allows for more effective filtration.

Due to its porous structure, carbon is ideal for filtering. Contaminants found in the water that flow through activated carbon are trapped (adsorbed) in pores, resulting in the water being purified and free from toxins.
