Description

The Ultra 05 activated carbon replacement filter is made from coconut shell activated carbon and designed to fit 10" filter housings. It is suitable for filtering cold drinking water. 

The filter's construction is such that it prevents any leakage of small parts of the filtering material.

Features:

  • Removal of sediments (sand, mud, rust, and suspended solids)
  • Removal of chlorine up to 100%, organic pollutants, pesticides, and pathogenic chemicals, according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42
  • Improvement of water taste and odor to high levels, according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42
  • Removal of cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma) with permeability up to 0.5 micron, according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53
  • Reduction of lead concentration (lead is a highly toxic metal that enters drinking water mainly from water supply pipes), according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53
  • Does not release carbon dust
