This is the story of the evil Cristobita
who married the beautiful Rosita.
But she loved a poor man
who wandered around the village singing all day.

The lovers came together and lived happily ever after!
"The Beans of Katsipora" is a comedy with roots in puppet theater, carnival, and folk festivals. Influenced by the tradition of his country, the great Spanish poet brings back to the stage a character from the old Spanish theater and dresses him with his own commentary on the world and society, creating a greedy, empty, and superstitious hero who only chases wealth. However, happiness, fortunately, is a good that cannot be bought.
The play is enriched with suggested music and concludes with an Appendix for Educators with suggested improvisations for the Theater Education lesson, as well as Greek and Foreign Literature about Children's Theater.
