Although I was advised to have it at the minimum setting to avoid noise, I have set it to about one-third of its power where there is a slight whirring sound that doesn't bother me at all, but it prevents dust from accumulating in the room. Certified for reducing the spread of COVID-19 and a European product that is currently somewhat hard to find. I highly recommend it!
