Additionally, it catches my hair between the barrel and the lid and pulls out strands.       I have been using it for years, it is definitely worth the money. It creates large loose curls and everyone always asks me how I achieve such beautiful curls. Regarding the comments that say the curls don't hold, I would say they are probably doing something wrong during the process (maybe they are doing it with freshly washed hair, not using the right temperature, or not curling for the required time), I have used quite a few similar products and this one is top-notch. It also reaches temperature in no time.

      The result is so bad that I thought it was defective. The clip doesn't hold my hair and they fall out. It takes me 2-3 times for each strand and I have shoulder-length hair.
