I bought it for an ugly tear in the monofilm material on a windsurfing sail. Its thickness didn't impress me because it was thin. However, in use (so far around 10 hours), I saw that it held up both in the stretching/releasing of the sail and in the water, and in the sunlight, and in the fact that the sail was reused without rinsing with fresh water. If anything changes after more use, I will update my review.
