It has a dial for the grinding level, but in the end, it does whatever you want - whether it's finely ground or coarsely ground. It depends on how long you press the button. The lid it has closes very well, but to prevent the ground coffee from falling outside the container, you shake it a little so it doesn't stick to the walls, and with a spoon, you do the rest. What I noticed is that if it grinds for a long time, and after it starts to warm up slightly, the lid becomes slightly foggy on top, but it's nothing special, as it is a natural process. Anyway, it is intended for household use, not professional use.
