- Nose: On the nose, fresh fruits and caramelized apple. Ripe orchard fruits (apples and pears), berries and a hint of citrus combine with a base of sweet wood notes and creamy vanilla fudge.
- Taste: On the palate, it has a rich creamy sensation. In the mouth, caramelized apple, soft fruit notes and a mild woody character. The mild spices in the background highlight the character of the fruits and vanilla, creating a prolonged and creamy aftertaste. An exquisitely balanced whisky that ideally incorporates the characters of different distilleries.
The Speyside Blended Copper Dog is a whisky that originates from Speyside, the largest whisky-producing region in the world, responsible for 70% of all Scotch whisky. A blended malt Scotch whisky that got its name from an object that distillery workers used to secretly take whisky home.
These ingenious Speyside folks were the inspiration for this unique blend with eight single malt whiskies that are slowly married in aged oak barrels. An easy-drinking Scotch whisky with aromas of ripe fruits and a subtle spicy aftertaste. It was first crafted at the Craigellachie Hotel by master blender Stuart Morisson.
