Description & Specifications

Varietal composition: Single Malt

Region: Scotland

Tasting characteristics: The Mortlach 12-year-old is a single malt Scotch whisky with an intense, rich, and bold flavor. The taste and aroma profile of Mortlach is characterized by "intense flavor without intense smokiness." This specific edition bears the title Wee Witchie, the name of a tiny still that distills a portion of the whisky. Its character harks back to a time when whiskies were more lavish, bolder, and darker. The Mortlach 12-year-old is crafted with double maturation in European and American oak casks, where its uniquely rich and robust character is enhanced.
