Tasting Characteristics: The Hyde family has a history dating back to 1640 with the establishment of the "Tinker Cross" restaurant in West Cork. Authentic Irish whiskey aged in oak barrels is served there. The Hyde No.3 The Aras Cask 1916 is a limited production single grain whiskey, triple distilled and aged for six years in Bourbon barrels. It has a strong spicy character with aromas of cinnamon and clove, with sweet notes of caramel. On the palate, it is smooth with a sensation of toasted wood and a long finish.
