A TERRIBLE CHAIR!!!
First of all, I have to say that you need a degree in mechanical engineering to assemble it. There were no instructions inside, neither in English nor in any other language. Not even a sketch! Absolutely nothing. It contains 9 screws: 5 short and 4 long. But, strangely, although the chair base has 5 slots and the backrest 4, the 5 short screws do not go into the base and the 4 long ones into the backrest as one would expect; instead, 4 long and 1 short go into the base, and the remaining 4 short ones into the backrest. I mean, how exactly was I supposed to imagine that? Read my mind?? Also, the underside of the base has 4 plastic grooves for the metal tubes that make up the legs and the others that connect the backrest to the seat to fit into and be secured. Of these grooves, only the 2 diagonal ones are used; the other 2, for some unknown reason, have been created... They serve no purpose, they only confuse.
After the chair was assembled with great effort and struggle, I have to say that it wobbles terribly and is not stable. Obviously not all the legs are exactly the same length? Or the rubber feet were not fitted properly on the legs? The fact is that when you sit on the chair it rocks back and forth, it is not stable and it is DANGEROUS!
I wonder whether anyone ever tests these products or whether they import them from China, throw them straight onto the market, and let whoever may come, come???
P.S. A friend of mine who is an engineer came to the house and I told him, I have a project for you. Find out why this old chair wobbles. He studied it a bit and found that on one of the 4 legs the rubber foot had been fitted on the wrong side of the tube, resulting in the assembly holes being slightly off and one of the 4 legs being slightly longer. As for the two grooves on the plastic seat underneath, he also confirmed that they are useless and serve no purpose. At least now the chair is stable. But I wonder how many elderly people have fallen from it and been injured simply because someone on the assembly line put the rubber on one leg the wrong way around. Shame. There should have been quality control on the product and there definitely should have been a leaflet with instructions for the final screwing together, because it is not at all simple.

Καταρχάς να πω ότι χρειάζεται να έχεις πτυχίο μηχανολογίας για να τη συναρμολογήσεις. Οδηγίες δεν υπήρχαν μέσα, ούτε στα αγγλικά ούτε σε καμία άλλη γλώσσα. Ούτε καν ένα σκίτσο! Απολύτως τίποτα. Περιέχει 9 βίδες. 5 κοντές 4 μακριές. αλλά παραδόξως ενώ η βάση της καρέκλας έχει 5 υποδοχές και η πλάτη 4, δεν πάνε οι 5 κοντές στη βάση και η 4 μακριές στην πλάτη όπως θα περίμενε κανείς, αλλά πάνε 4 μακριές και 1 κοντή στη βάση, και οι υπόλοιπες 4 κοντές στην πλάτη. Δηλαδή πως ακριβώς θα έπρεπε να το φανταστώ αυτό? Να μυρίσω τα νύχια μου?? Επίσης η κάτω πλευρά της βάσης έχει 4 πλαστικά λούκια για να μπουν και να σταθεροποιηθούν μέσα οι μεταλλικοί σωλήνες που συνιστούν τα πόδια και οι άλλοι που συνδέουν την πλάτη με το κάθισμα. Από αυτά τα λούκια μόνο τα 2 χιαστί χρησιμοποιούνται, τα άλλα 2 άγνωστο για πιο λόγο έχουν δημιουργηθεί... Δε χρησιμεύουν σε τίποτα μόνο μπερδεύουν.
Αφού μετά κόπων και βασάνων συναρμολογήθηκε η καρέκλα, να πω ότι παλαντζάρει πολύ άσχημα και δεν έχει σταθερότητα. Προφανώς δεν είναι όλα τα πόδια ακριβώς ίδιο μήκος? Η δεν έχουν εφαρμόσει σωστά τα λάστιχα στα πόδια? Γεγονός είναι ότι η καρέκλα όταν κάθεσαι πάνω πάει κι έρχεται, δεν είναι σταθερή και είναι ΕΠΙΚΙΝΔΥΝΗ!
Αναρρωτιέμαι αν όλα αυτά τα προϊόντα τα δοκιμάζει κανείς ποτέ ή τα εισάγουν από Κίνα,τα πετάνε κατευθείαν στην αγορά κι όποιον πάρει ο χάρος???
Υ.Γ. Ηρθε ενας φίλος μηχανικός στο σπίτι και του λέω σου έχω project. Βρες γιατί παλαντζάρει αυτή η παλιοκαρέκλα. Τη μελέτησε λίγο και βρήκε ότι στο ένα από τα 4 πόδια το λάστιχο του πέλματος το είχαν κουμπώσει απ'την λάθος μεριά του σωλήνα με αποτέλεσμα οι τρύπες της συναρμολόγησης να ειναι λίγο off και το ένα από τα 4 πόδια ελάχιστα μακρύτερο. Για τα δύο αυλάκια που έχει το πλαστικό κάθισμα στο κάτω μέρος επιβεβαίωσε κι αυτός ότι είναι άχρηστα και δεν έχουν καμία σκοπιμότητα. Τουλάχιστον τώρα η καρέκλα έγινε σταθερή. Αναρρωτιέμαι όμως ποσοι ηλικιωμένοι έχουν πέσει από πάνω της και έχουν χτυπήσει απλώς γιατί κάποιος στη γραμμή συναρμολόγησης έβαλε ανάποδα το λάστιχο σε ένα πόδι. Ντροπή. Επρεπε να υπάρχει έλεγχος στο προϊόν και έπρεπε σίγουρα να υπάρχει φυλλάδιο με οδηγίες για το τελικό βίδωμα, διότι δεν είναι καθόλου απλό.

Yes, you can instinctively figure out how to assemble it, but the package contains screws of two different sizes, which is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions, nor does it tell you which size screw to use for each part, resulting in me puncturing the plastic seat while screwing on the legs...

Εντωμεταξύ, οι οδηγίες για την πλάτη είναι ακόμα πιο ασαφείς, μπορείτε να δείτε και μόνοι σας το φυλλάδιο που ανέβασα. Μια αποτυχία η αγορά (34€ ), αφού λογίζεται ως δικό μου λάθος και δεν μπορώ να επιστρέψω το προϊόν.
The chair is truly wonderful. I assembled it easily by myself and if you tighten it well, it stands very firmly on its legs. It arrived very quickly at our home. Kudos to the store. It is lightweight.
It fit in the shower and made things easier for the person who used it with a broken leg. As for its price, there is no comparison. A very good deal, when the same chair in orthopedic stores costs over 100 euros. That’s how much I found it for in two shops I asked. It’s worth having it in the shower, not only for people with mobility problems.

Παρακαλώ μπορείτε να μου πείτε ποιες είναι οι αποστάσεις που έχουν τα ποδαράκια; Χωράει σε κλασική παλιά μπανιέρα που το πλάτος στη βάση της μπανιέρας είναι 33 εκ και στο τέλος της μπανιέρας που φαρδαίνει είναι 55;
Η απόσταση στα ποδαράκια είναι 41,5 εκατοστά στο φάρδος και 36 στο βάθος. Μάλλον ίδια μπανιέρα έχουμε, δε χωράει να πατήσει κάτω, αλλά κάπως στερεώνεται μια χαρά, έχει καλά προστατευτικά πέλματα που δεν χαλάνε το σμάλτο και είναι πολύ γερό γενικώς.

Περιέχει 9 βίδες. 5 κοντές 4 μακριές. αλλά παραδόξως ενώ η βάση της καρέκλας έχει 5 υποδοχές και η πλάτη 4, δεν πάνε οι 5 κοντές στη βάση και η 4 μακριές στην πλάτη όπως θα περίμενε κανείς, αλλά πάνε 4 μακριές και 1 κοντή στη βάση, και οι υπόλοιπες 4 κοντές στην πλάτη. Δηλαδή πως ακριβώς θα έπρεπε να το φανταστώ αυτό? Να μυρίσω τα νύχια μου?? Επίσης η κάτω πλευρά της βάσης έχει 4 πλαστικά λούκια για να μπουν και να σταθεροποιηθούν μέσα οι μεταλλικοί σωλήνες που συνιστούν τα πόδια και οι άλλοι που συνδέουν την πλάτη με το κάθισμα. Από αυτά τα λούκια μόνο τα 2 χιαστί χρησιμοποιούνται, τα άλλα 2 άγνωστο για πιο λόγο έχουν δημιουργηθεί... Δε χρησιμεύουν σε τίποτα μόνο μπερδεύουν.
Αφού μετά κόπων και βασάνων συναρμολογήθηκε η καρέκλα, να πω ότι παλαντζάρει πολύ άσχημα και δεν έχει σταθερότητα. Προφανώς δεν είναι όλα τα πόδια ακριβώς ίδιο μήκος? Η δεν έχουν εφαρμόσει σωστά τα λάστιχα στα πόδια? Γεγονός είναι ότι η καρέκλα όταν κάθεσαι πάνω πάει κι έρχεται, δεν είναι σταθερή και είναι ΕΠΙΚΙΝΔΥΝΗ!
Αναρρωτιέμαι αν όλα αυτά τα προϊόντα τα δοκιμάζει κανείς ποτέ ή τα εισάγουν από Κίνα,τα πετάνε κατευθείαν στην αγορά κι όποιον πάρει ο χάρος???
Υ.Γ. Ηρθε ενας φίλος μηχανικός στο σπίτι και του λέω σου έχω project. Βρες γιατί παλαντζάρει αυτή η παλιοκαρέκλα. Τη μελέτησε λίγο και βρήκε ότι στο ένα από τα 4 πόδια το λάστιχο του πέλματος το είχαν κουμπώσει απ'την λάθος μεριά του σωλήνα με αποτέλεσμα οι τρύπες της συναρμολόγησης να ειναι λίγο off και το ένα από τα 4 πόδια ελάχιστα μακρύτερο. Για τα δύο αυλάκια που έχει το πλαστικό κάθισμα στο κάτω μέρος επιβεβαίωσε κι αυτός ότι είναι άχρηστα και δεν έχουν καμία σκοπιμότητα. Τουλάχιστον τώρα η καρέκλα έγινε σταθερή. Αναρρωτιέμαι όμως ποσοι ηλικιωμένοι έχουν πέσει από πάνω της και έχουν χτυπήσει απλώς γιατί κάποιος στη γραμμή συναρμολόγησης έβαλε ανάποδα το λάστιχο σε ένα πόδι. Ντροπή. Επρεπε να υπάρχει έλεγχος στο προϊόν και έπρεπε σίγουρα να υπάρχει φυλλάδιο με οδηγίες για το τελικό βίδωμα, διότι δεν είναι καθόλου απλό.

Εντωμεταξύ, οι οδηγίες για την πλάτη είναι ακόμα πιο ασαφείς, μπορείτε να δείτε και μόνοι σας το φυλλάδιο που ανέβασα. Μια αποτυχία η αγορά (34€ ), αφού λογίζεται ως δικό μου λάθος και δεν μπορώ να επιστρέψω το προϊόν.
The chair is truly wonderful. I assembled it easily by myself and if you tighten it well, it stands very firmly on its legs. It arrived very quickly at our home. Kudos to the store. It is lightweight.
It fit in the shower and made things easier for the person who used it with a broken leg. As for its price, there is no comparison. A very good deal, when the same chair in orthopedic stores costs over 100 euros. That’s how much I found it for in two shops I asked. A TERRIBLE CHAIR!!!
First of all, I have to say that you need a degree in mechanical engineering to assemble it. There were no instructions inside, neither in English nor in any other language. Not even a sketch! Absolutely nothing. It contains 9 screws: 5 short and 4 long. But, strangely, although the chair base has 5 slots and the backrest 4, the 5 short screws do not go into the base and the 4 long ones into the backrest as one would expect; instead, 4 long and 1 short go into the base, and the remaining 4 short ones into the backrest. I mean, how exactly was I supposed to imagine that? Read my mind?? Also, the underside of the base has 4 plastic grooves for the metal tubes that make up the legs and the others that connect the backrest to the seat to fit into and be secured. Of these grooves, only the 2 diagonal ones are used; the other 2, for some unknown reason, have been created... They serve no purpose, they only confuse.
After the chair was assembled with great effort and struggle, I have to say that it wobbles terribly and is not stable. Obviously not all the legs are exactly the same length? Or the rubber feet were not fitted properly on the legs? The fact is that when you sit on the chair it rocks back and forth, it is not stable and it is DANGEROUS!
I wonder whether anyone ever tests these products or whether they import them from China, throw them straight onto the market, and let whoever may come, come???
P.S. A friend of mine who is an engineer came to the house and I told him, I have a project for you. Find out why this old chair wobbles. He studied it a bit and found that on one of the 4 legs the rubber foot had been fitted on the wrong side of the tube, resulting in the assembly holes being slightly off and one of the 4 legs being slightly longer. As for the two grooves on the plastic seat underneath, he also confirmed that they are useless and serve no purpose. At least now the chair is stable. But I wonder how many elderly people have fallen from it and been injured simply because someone on the assembly line put the rubber on one leg the wrong way around. Shame. There should have been quality control on the product and there definitely should have been a leaflet with instructions for the final screwing together, because it is not at all simple.
