We know that in our country there are Greek-Japanese communities and individuals who are involved in issues such as haiku, manga, sushi, ikebana, martial arts... They do it with skill, politeness, and professionalism.
What is our book about?
This book is a lexicon with notes or entries of anthropogeographic content that are focused on the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.
We preferred as material for the book issues that deserve to be popularized more, such as Japaneseness, island geography and geopolitics, cities, natural disasters, ethnic composition, gender relations, economy and demographics, infrastructure and transportation, politics, religion, art, school bullying, education, language and its peculiar relationship with the Greek language, recent history and American dominance, poetry and literature, cinema, the Olympic Games, rice as geopolitics and symbolism, Greek Japanologists, Hiroshima... And of course, Nagasaki.
Instead of a composition, the reader will encounter a polythematic and, of course, polyhedral approach to the "Archipelago". I believe that this way we may have avoided any possible distortion due to some "composition". So it is expected that the reader will carve their own personal search path in the book.
