Description & Specifications

Fifty years after its first edition, On Death and Dying by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross is being published in Greek for the first time.

This is one of the most important psychological studies of the 20th century, which deeply influenced the fields of mental health and human research.

The American-Swiss psychiatrist, as is well known, introduced the theory of the "five stages of grief" that a terminally ill patient goes through: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

Through interviews and conversations, Kübler-Ross explored how impending death affects the patient, the doctors and medical staff around them, as well as their family environment, and formulated her theory, which remains a reference point in the field of psychiatry to this day.

The edition includes a foreword by psychiatrist, child psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst Athanasios Alexandridis.
