The DUH502Z Hedge Trimmer is powered by an 18V Li-ion LXT slide-type battery (not included), with a brushless motor, soft start for smooth starting, and variable speed control. 3 speeds plus a trigger and constant speed control for maintaining a steady speed under load, for a performance of up to 4,400 strokes per minute.

It is equipped with a dual power switch and electric brake for operator safety, a blade tip guard for protecting the blade from unnecessary wear, and a 5-position rotating rear handle.
