    I feel my ankle and shin unprotected, which... that's why I bought them but they are not good for anything!

The Alpinestars Origin Drystar motorcycle boots feature an abrasion-resistant microfiber upper and an integrated Drystar® membrane for waterproof protection in adverse weather conditions. Dual-density protectors cover the inner and outer sides of the ankle, while the toe box and heel are reinforced. Flexible zones at the front and back make it easier to move while riding.

The anatomical fit includes an ergonomic toe box, synthetic gear-shift reinforcement and an inner zipper on an elastic base. The wide hook-and-loop strap complements the large opening for easier on and off. The removable anatomical EVA footbed and specially formulated rubber sole support use on and off the motorcycle. Certified to EN 13634:2017.
