This study was not originally written to serve as an autonomous publication. Its primary purpose was to be incorporated - as a special chapter - into the author's work "The Party Phenomenon," which will normally be published in the fall of 1992 by Papazisi Publications.
However, given that the ecological political phenomenon arouses the interest of a particular audience, as an expression of a special and new form of politics (counterculture), it was decided to create this autonomous publication - enriched with the organizational charts of the main European ecological parties - aimed at those for whom the broader party phenomenon, in its more classic and "established" expressions and manifestations, does not generate particular interest.
However, I must warn the reader that concepts are used, comparisons are attempted, reference points are established, and categorizations are made, whose understanding is facilitated by - or presupposes - a basic familiarity with the fundamental theory of the party phenomenon.
