Lenses with a focal length of 80-135mm on full frame, 50-75mm on crop frame, and 120-180mm on medium format are ideal for portrait photography as they allow photography from a medium distance and flatter the subject's features. Larger focal lengths are used for wildlife photography, sports events, and generally for all subjects that require a greater distance.

    This particular lens came as a kit with the XH2 and I thought I wouldn't use it much, but I was wrong! It's a lens that can do many things at a decent price! For a relaxed trip, like a camera and a lens, I believe this would be my go-to kit! You don't need to carry 2.8 lenses unless you really need them anymore... F4 is just fine, and it's lightweight with very good image quality, it never disappoints!

    An excellent lens for every use. The lens construction quality is exceptional and the waterproofing is impeccable. I have been using it professionally since November 2019 when it first came to the Greek market. Compared to prime lenses, it is heavier, but not so much as to be bothersome on Fujifilm X series bodies such as the X-T3, X-T2, X-H1, and even the smaller X-E3. Additionally, the range it offers (16-80mm, equivalent to approximately 24-120mm in full-frame) combined with the perfect Optical Image Stabilization makes it the best choice for video use as well as for photography situations where changing lenses is difficult. The cost is not small, but it truly is worth it for the purchase of such a high-quality and useful lens.
