The package contains the Book of Psalms in the modern Greek language and two MP3 CDs that include the reading of the Psalms both from the Septuagint text (LXX) and from the well-known translation by the Hellenic Bible Society from the Hebrew original into modern Greek.
This translation was prepared by a team of university professors from the Theological Schools of Athens and Thessaloniki. The stylistic editing was done by the philologist Kaiti Chiotelli. The work, lasting approximately 11 hours, is accompanied by original music composed specifically for this purpose, using traditional local instruments similar to the biblical instruments from the era of the Psalms.
