3.The pronunciation is enclosed in brackets and is rendered in Greek characters in the Bulgarian-Greek section and in Cyrillic characters in the Greek-Bulgarian section, so that the dictionary is more user-friendly.

4.For each entry, there is a brief grammatical characterization (e.g., αυτoъус [αφτομπούς] noun. a. bus). Nouns that have only singular or plural forms have a supplemental note.

5.For nouns that remain the same in both masculine and feminine forms, gender is not indicated.

6.For adjectives, the endings for the three genders are mentioned (e.g., ъепопнк-а-ο [μπελολίκ] adj. white-faced).
