Users generally rate the lamp positively, mainly for its bright light and usefulness outdoors, where it seems to attract fewer insects. It is said to be suitable for lighting a balcony and for work, though its intense light may not be comfortable in a bedroom. However, some users point out that it does not actively repel mosquitoes and that its effectiveness is presented misleadingly.
This type of yellow lamp does not repel mosquitoes as (wrongly) advertised, but it does emit light at frequencies that do not attract them like regular lamps. I suppose "non-insect-attracting" would sound less appealing, and they prefer the misleading title "insect-repelling" as if it works like RAID.
Nevertheless, it is worth using outdoors and indeed helps gather fewer mosquitoes and generally fewer insects than any other lamp. It is useful enough to deserve a 4-star rating, although the way it is advertised does not correspond to what it actually does.
exactly what I needed and expected.
strong light
does it repel mosquitoes?
that's how it seems, I didn't have many, the truth is
εάν απομακρύνει τα κουνούπια;
Fantastic lamp. I bought it for outdoor use. It shines very brightly and I can work on the computer. My balcony is in a village and there are no lights around, so it has been tested in complete darkness. I also tried it indoors, but it is too bright for the bedroom, it seemed strong to me. Very good lamp.
Good light, but it is not insect-repellent
Very good for insects but the lighting on the balcony is very low and tiring.
