The book deals with the analysis of the first three thematic units of the new school textbook corresponding to 11 teaching units.

• 11 Reference Texts (4 of which are new material): the texts are presented with a diagrammatic structure and comprehension questions. The new texts include additional philosophical approach comments. Answers are provided to all text questions according to three axes: a) What the text says, b) Delving into the meaning of the text, and c) About the language of the text.
• 26 Parallel Texts related to the Reference Text: answers are provided to the questions concerning either the analysis of the texts or their comparison with the Reference Text.
• 20 Self-Activity Texts: these texts are untaught with questions referring to meaning, syntactic structures, and lexical choices. Answers are provided to all questions, and additionally, the translation of all texts and the necessary theoretical framework for syntactic questions.
