Description

My method is: Brief, concise offering of the essence of Music.

My supports: Over twenty years of musical experience, my writing work to date, and my daily, lengthy, and intensive music teaching, for the most complete and rapid understanding of various musical instruments. My writing work includes the publication of more than ten methods - Guitar, Accordion, etc. The brilliant success of the publications is evident from the enthusiastic reception and dissemination of my books to the wider public. I applied the same productive system to my private students with excellent results. This method for Bouzouki offers the appropriate material so that the student can acquire the necessary skills for a complete and correct handling of the instrument's technique in a short period of time.

The era when the Bouzouki - an instrument that was quite defamed - remained a privilege of the underworld class and its music was associated with practical musicians, who lacked even the most basic musical education, has passed.

Today, however, the Bouzouki is taught in a scientific manner and has taken its rightful place.

The ancient instrument, with a delicate sound, is suitable not only for "taximia", small group dances, accompaniment of one or a few singers, but can also perform pieces of classical nature suitably arranged. Its fame already exceeds local Greek boundaries and is studied with zeal throughout Europe and America.

The system I have applied to the teaching of this instrument to date was based on various manuscripts of mine, which now constitute the material of this Method. The excellent results of my teaching guarantee the success of the music-educational work I present, which is not merely an experiment but a necessity.
