Description

Description

The Nimbus Midi-Tower from Kolink offers an RGB-LED strip that surrounds the large opening on the front, allowing for significant improvement in airflow. The material installed inside the case also remains dust-free thanks to the filter, which is important as users will also have the opportunity to admire the material they have acquired with difficulty from the side of the tempered glass. Despite the use of solid glass by Kolink, the Kolink Nimbus still weighs only 4.58 kg.

The generous dimensions of the case not only help with airflow but also allow users to install motherboards up to ATX form factor. Graphics cards up to 325 mm in length are compatible - which means that the case is ideal for housing high-quality gaming equipment.

I have had the case for about 2 months and I believe it's time for me to give my evaluation.

    POSITIVES:
-Very beautiful, with nice RGB in the front and tempered glass.
-Good build quality with satisfactory plastics and sturdy metal.
    -Easy to move.
-For me, ideal for medium-small form-factor PCs and mATX motherboards.
-AMAZING AIR-FLOW (with one pre-installed fan at the back and space for 5 more fans, 3 in the front and 2 on top).
-PSU shroud (which, for me, is a must-have to have a beautiful and clean PC).
-At the back, it has decent cable management and the PC is quite clean.

    NEGATIVES:
-It does not have properly placed cut-outs for the cables, especially the 24-pin and the USB 3.0. You have to pass them through the holes that are used for the SSD, and the USB 3.0 is a bit difficult.
-Due to the aforementioned problem, I had trouble installing my 2.5" SSD with the SATA cables being quite stressed.

In conclusion, it is a very good value-for-money case with typical budget problems to reduce costs. I recommend it!

Everything was fine for 2 months, then the RGB lights stopped working in the front for no reason, and there is little space for cable management. The airflow is good, but it only comes with one outtake fan, so you will need to get at least two more. Lastly, it can only fit 2 fans, so if you have a water cooler for the CPU, it won't fit

The negatives are that the front is plastic even though it looks like aluminum. There are spaces for a midi tower, but there are no facilities for easy building (in other words, you have to unscrew everything and struggle to fit everything inside). It doesn't easily accommodate liquid cooling and if you have a large card, you will have difficulties.

The positives are the tempered glass, the impressive RGB effects, and the excellent airflow! It comes with one pre-installed RGB fan, but it easily fits two more, although it works perfectly fine with just one.

Don't pay for the brand! Sotiris said it too. This is his favorite budget case. He is currently using it and he shows it in the second half of his video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2nO7kSCc-g
