This work attempts a systematic article-by-article interpretation of the Second Book of the Code of Civil Procedure (regular procedure in first-instance courts, articles 208-320 of the CCP).
A comprehensive analysis is provided of a large body of case law from the last 20 years, from the year 2000 until May 2019. In each interpreted provision, the prevailing and non-prevailing opinions in case law are crystallized along with their arguments, while not missing the mention of individual decisions that present a distinct legal interest.
The proposed solution for each procedural issue goes through the necessary critique of the case law positions, aided by procedural theory, which sometimes aligns and other times disagrees with the case law opinions.
The provisions of articles 208-320 of the CCP have undergone the most radical amendments from law 4335/2015. Since the implementation of the above law (1.1.2016) until today, many interesting judicial decisions have been issued, which are analyzed in depth in this work regarding the interpretative issues raised by the recent law.
The work is aimed at practitioners of law, as well as legal theorists, with the intention of providing them with a comprehensive and reliable guide.
