On Monday, October 1, 2018, a seminar was held at the Centre for International and European Economic Law (CIEEL), with a donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, on the topic “Judicial Cooperation in Cross-Border Cases in the European Union - Current Issues and Developments.”
The seminar is part of a two-year research program that Ms. Virginia Tzortzi is conducting as a researcher at CIEEL, with the generous funding of the SNF.
Distinguished personalities from the academic and judicial fields participated in the seminar. The seminar addressed issues of everyday judicial practice and provided a framework for the exchange of views on matters of high theoretical and practical interest among academics specializing in EU civil and criminal law, judges, and lawyers.
