I consider it unacceptable for a device, as it is impossible to connect a VGA and HDMI cable together (they don't fit because the ports are too close).
Also, sometimes it freezes and requires shutting down the computer and essentially resetting it (with a Lenovo laptop, instructions on Lenovo).
Overall, it is a poor device for its price. There are much better options available for much less money

Impressive device and particularly convenient if you use your laptop as a workstation and would like to free up space on your desk and/or add more than one monitor to it. Something that I found a bit disappointing is that it does not support firmware packages for upgrading in a Unix/Linux environment, but only in Win64/32 systems. Also, with the default firmware, I encountered a 'peculiar' issue with the Ethernet port where upon shutting down the device (laptop) to which the hub was connected, it would cause a disruption in the local network. Most likely, this problem can be resolved with a firmware update. Finally, regarding the price, it is a bit 'steep' in my humble opinion.

gauzer

andreas.christopoulos

nikgialke
