The purpose of this book is not to replace the school textbook, but to provide the candidate with an aid for their revisions as well as for the processing of sources.
The book is divided into three parts.

In the 1st part, the five thematic units of the book are presented, for which the following are provided:
- Summaries of all the chapters of the school book. The summaries are formulated succinctly or in diagram form, without omitting any essential element.
- Table of historical concepts/terms for each chapter.
- Questions that cover every point of the corresponding chapter.
In the 2nd part, a chronological table is provided, which includes all the important dates that the candidate needs to know.
In the 3rd part, a methodology for source analysis is provided. Three forms of sources are presented:
- Statistical tables - Texts - Posters - Images - Cartoons. In each of the three cases, the "steps" that the student should take when analyzing a source are initially presented in table form, followed by specific examples, with the thoughts that the student might or should have in their effort to handle a source and the final answers.
