Υπάρχουν τα λεγόμενα "cross platform" παιχνίδια που ουσιαστικά οι κονσόλες μοιράζονται τους servers τους. Παραδείγματα αποτελούν τα Apex Legends, Dragon Quest X, Fortnite, Overcooked, Rocket League και άλλα (εδώ μπορείς να τα δείς όλλα: https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/nintendo-switch-cross-play-list/). Άν ένα παιχνίδι δεν έχει cross platform για το Switch τότε αυτόματα σημαίνει ότι δε μπορείς και να παίξεις με κατόχους ps4/ps5.
