The JHS Pedals Active A/B/Y pedal is a switch box for electric guitar and electric bass, with one input and two outputs. It lets you select output A, output B, or both simultaneously for stereo output. The left footswitch selects between channels A and B, while the Y footswitch activates both channels.

It has a high-impedance buffered input and isolated outputs to prevent ground loops. One of the two channel outputs features a transformer to eliminate the need for grounding, while channel A has a polarity switch. FET transistors ensure silent switching, and the pedal is designed for input signals below 14 V gain.
