Users appreciate Nemesis for its immersive sci-fi experience and high-quality, atmospheric presentation. It offers cooperative, semi-cooperative, and solo play, with a strong emphasis on survival and suspense. However, several reviewers note that the many rules take time to learn, and that setup and the amount of space it requires can be tiring.

good game. it reminds me of turn based like xcom, but more survival horror than tactical combat. i don't play many board games so for its price let each person judge
καλό game. μου θυμίζει turn based σαν xcom, αλλά πιο πολύ survival horror παρά tactical combat.
It resembles a video game and so do its rules, that's why it's very big and complex. However, if you look at it logically, everything becomes easier. The boards and the figures make the game "realistic" in a way. It's extremely difficult, and I don't remember us ever winning. It's a cooperative and non-cooperative game. We wanted it for many years and finally decided to get it. I don't know if we did the right thing because it has many disadvantages.
Disadvantages:
-It takes a long time to set up the game, at least half an hour or more
-You need a very large kitchen table to fit the board and the players just barely.
-It takes quite some time to understand all the rules and especially to understand how the aliens play.
-It takes a long time for someone to play and move from room to room.
-It takes quite a while to explain to friends how it's played
-Generally, you need to have a lot of time ahead of you to play at least 2 hours and
-It's expensive
-It took us many hours to learn the rules (watching videos from foreigners on YouTube again and again and again and again...)
Advantages:
-The game itself immerses you and conveys the Alien experience, the anxiety, the doubt of your teammates.
-Because it has a very beautiful board and figures, it brings you closer to your character in a cinematic way.
-It's a gem even on the bookshelf, and it has enough figures that you can paint as you like.
-Everything is quite compact in the box, all the items and characters.
In conclusion, unfortunately, we've had it for 5-6 years and we've played it about 4 times due to the time it requires.
Excellent tabletop science fiction game, although it requires familiarity with the rules. In the first game, we needed to refer to the rules very often.
It has obvious influences from Alien, but maintains its own identity.
It can be played as semi-cooperative, cooperative, or even with just one player. The first option is more interesting, as besides the aliens, there is also the potential threat from the goals of other players. Of course, if someone is not proficient in English, then cooperative play is the only option.
The game pieces are of very high quality. The artwork on the box, the cards, and the board is very nice with a unique style. Inside the box, there are plastic trays for all the components, even for the cards once they are sleeved. The miniatures are very detailed, and if someone takes the time to paint them, they will look even better.
Overall, it is worth the money; just be prepared for a game that is more complex than the average tabletop game, which can last a long time... or end very quickly, as there are many ways to lose.
The expansions significantly change the game, whether it's the aftermath or the alternative aliens.
Game with many rules and details... if you give it a little time to learn it you will definitely love it, Not suitable for new players it will tire them a lot.

Game with many rules and details... if you give it a little time to learn it you will definitely love it, Not suitable for new players it will tire them a lot.
