Medi

The Medi model was developed in the Pathos development department after studying the camouflage elements of the Grouper Epinephelous Malabaricus. By processing the shades, graphics, and data, they arrived at 3 color variations capable of meeting the modern needs of spearfishers in any marine environment worldwide. It will assist you in underwater fishing with static ambush, as it helps break the volume of your body, while simultaneously making it difficult for the fish to have a clear image of your shape and size.

With Integrated Hood

  • Provides additional insulation and warmth for the head and neck, areas which are particularly sensitive to low temperatures
  • Prevents water from coming into direct contact with the scalp, ears, and face, thus helping to minimize the risk of hypothermia
  • Helps keep hair away from your face, particularly important for divers
  • Offers sun protection. Exposure to UV rays can be harmful, as the reflective nature of water can intensify the sun's effects
  • Improves hydrodynamics by reducing water resistance

Lining / Shaved

It is designed so that the outer part has a lining (jersey, polyester, lycra, etc.) while internally the neoprene has no lining and is in the form of shaved, which means cut in a horizontal section with open bubbles.

Specifically, the Ocean is internally with Sheiko Open Shell Neoprene and externally with Lycra Camo fabric.

  • Comfortable, elastic, and very durable fabric, thin seam, and double-coated suit features anti-slip reinforcements and protective cover on the elbows.
  • It also provides excellent thermal protection and comfort, while drying quickly due to the Lycra fabric.
  • It is worn using shampoo or special lubricant, sewn only externally, and has great comfort and thermal insulation.

The "new" Neoprene fabric

Neoprene is a lightweight, elastic, yet quite durable mesh. Its structure resembles a honeycomb due to microscopic air bubbles found within small elastic cells, making it hydrophilic and resistant to wear.

It offers the following advantages:

  • Completely waterproof
  • Maintains its physical and technical properties over a wide temperature range (-60 to +90 °C)
  • Keeps the human body warm
  • Maintains its integrity under the influence of salt solutions
  • Flexible and soft, not restricting movement at all

With chest panel

Positioned at the chest height of the wetsuit from reinforced material to prevent the slings from slipping during arming.

No Zipper

It does not have a zipper and offers:

  • Superior sealing and hydrodynamic properties
  • Greater freedom of movement, especially in the shoulder and back areas
  • Tight and secure fit

Finally, it requires more effort when putting on or taking off compared to traditional wetsuits with zippers.

    Fantastic suit. So far I can stay in the water for 5-6 hours comfortably. I am 182cm, 95kg and I got the XL which is just about a fit. I mention this because I suggest you get one size bigger to be a bit more comfortable in movement.
