The material does not seem to be durable or of good quality. I cannot know how much UVA and UVB it absorbs without testing. It claims to absorb 97% though. The dimensions stated on the packaging are incorrect. The membrane is approximately 60 x 37 without the frame. The visibility through the membrane is average, not perfectly clear. The color is a light purple. However, what bothered me the most is that the car smelled like "plastic" once the membranes heated up from the sun. Despite them claiming to be made of non-harmful material, it bothered me and I will return them.
Το υλικό δεν μοιάζει να είναι αντοχής και ούτε ποιοτικό. Το πόσο απορροφά UVA και UVB δεν μπορώ να ξέρω χωρίς έλεγχο. Λέει 97% πάντως. Οι διαστάσεις που αναγράφονται στη συσκευασία είναι λανθασμένες. Είναι περίπου 60 x 37 η μεμβράνη χωρίς το πλαίσιο. Η ορατότητα μέσα από τη μεμβράνη είναι μέτρια, δεν είναι απόλυτα καθαρή. Το χρώμα είναι ελαφρός μωβ. Αυτό που με ενόχλησε όμως πιο πολύ απ' ολα είναι πως μύριζε το αυτοκίνητο "πλαστικίλα" εφόσον ζεστάθηκαν οι μεμβράνες από τον ήλιο. Όσο και να λένε πως είναι κατασκευασμένες από μη βλαβερό υλικό, εμένα με ενόχλησε και θα τις επιστρέψω.
Attention, it is not fabric, it is a removable membrane... it does its job just fine and the important thing is that it doesn't come off from the heat.. you just need to clean the window well and it sticks magnetically.
When summer is over, give it a wash with cold water.. let it dry and store it for next year..
The membrane is supported by a wire frame, just like fabric curtains..
