I have combined the motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and G.Skill TridentZ Neo 64GB DDR4-3600MHz (F4-3600C16Q-64GTZN).
{At full speed, the memory hangs, but I lowered it a bit and everything is fine.} With the latest BIOS version, they no longer hang at maximum speed.
Its BIOS is complex, overly complex, and without help… it requires work to achieve the maximum possible performance. Also, because it has UEFI boot, if you are not familiar with it, it can be frustrating – find it to start with and use legacy, or if all your programs support it, format and boot only on that.
It has small issues, it refuses to start many times – and I am gradually solving them by making small adjustments – I think because it is very new they will fix them with BIOS updates.
One disadvantage is that it has only 3 fan connectors, and one for the pump that you cannot change as usage from its program.
Another issue is that it has only 4 SATA for disk connections, and one Mini-SAS, for which you need to buy an extra expensive cable if you want to have 4 more SATA drives.
It has a Node Connector, but there are no peripherals available yet.
I found and bought an extra node connector card for the fans and it does not work – I bought a second one in case the first was faulty, and the second one does not work either – this still does not function properly – ASUS does not seem interested in fixing it, despite my dozens of emails over the months.
It has very good 7.1 audio and I have a 7.1 system connected to it.
It also has a small fan to help cool the chipset, which is silent… Very good cooling on the MOS that provide power…
A total black design which is enough for me, I do not like lights and colors, besides I have it closed, I do not see inside the computer.
Very good base that holds the cooler and reinforced slots for the graphics cards.
In general, I am satisfied although I would like it to have more features… for example, I would like a 10Gb network or 4 Intel 1Gb for link aggregation. With 1 Intel and 1 Realtek, it does not work.
Bottom line, stable, fast, silent, probably for many years my computer for all tasks…
After so many months of use – my problems are that the motherboard absolutely needs to run the dual intelligent processor and the fans need to be properly configured because otherwise everything overheats and there is a problem – for example, I just updated the dual intelligent processor and it did not take the previous settings, and without realizing it, the computer overheated and stopped. Why? Because the fans were probably set to run fast from 70 degrees and above – I don’t know. I have a similar issue with the ASUS graphics card.
So it does not save the settings on the motherboard, but it requires the program to run continuously -
Anyway, the system is absolutely stable - even with games at full.

Mε την τελευταία έκδοση bios δεν κολλάνε πλέον στην μέγιστη ταχύτητα.
Το bios της είναι πολύπλοκο, υπερβολικά πολύπλοκο και χωρίς βοήθεια… θέλει δουλίτσα για να πετύχεις την μέγιστη δυνατή απόδοση. Επίσης επειδή έχει και UEFI boot, αν δεν το γνωρίζεται μπορεί να σας σπάσει τα νεύρα – βρείτε το για αρχή και χρησιμοποιήστε το legacy, ή αν όλα τα προγράμματά σας το υποστηρίζουν κάντε forma και boot σε αυτό και μόνο.
Έχει μικρά θε ματάκια, αρνείται να ξεκινήσει πολλές φορές – και σιγά σιγά τα λύνω κάνοντας μικρό ρυθμίσεις – νομίζω πως επειδή είναι πολύ νέα θα τα διορθώσουν με τα bios update.
Ένα μειονέκτημα που έχει είναι πως έχει μόνο 3 fan connectors, και ένα για pump που δεν μπορείς να τα αλλάξεις σαν χρήση από το πρόγραμμα της.
Άλλο θέμα είναι πως έχει μόνο 4 SATA για συνδέσεις δίσκων, και ένα Mini-Sas, που πρέπει να αγοράσεις εξτρα ακριβό καλώδιο αν θες να έχεις άλλους 4 ακόμη sata δίσκους.
Έχει Node Connector, αλλά δεν υπάρχουν περιφερειακά ακόμη διαθέσιμα.
Βρήκα και αγόρασα extrra node connetor card για τους ανεμιστήρες και δεν συνεργάζεται – πήρα και δεύτερη μήπως η πρώτη είναι χαλασμένη, ούτε η δεύτερη – αυτό δεν λειτουργεί ακόμη σωστά – η asus δεν ενδιαφέρεται να το φτιάξει, παρόλο τα δεκάδες email μου εδώ και μήνες.
Έχει πολύ καλό audio 7.1 και έχω 7.1 σύστημα που το έχω συνδέσει.
Έχει και ένα μικρό ανεμηστηράκι για να βοηθάει στην ψύξη το chipset, που είναι αθόρυβο…
Πολύ καλή ψύξη στα MOS που δίνουν ρεύμα…
Ένα total black design που μου είναι αρκετό, δεν μου αρέσουν τα φωτάκια και τα χρω ματάκια, άλλωστε το έχω κλειστό, δεν βλέπω μέσα στον υπολογιστή.
Πολύ καλή βάση που κρατάει την ψύχτρα και ενισχυμένα slot για τις κάρτες γραφικών.
Γενικά είμαι ευχαριστημένος αν και θα ήθελα να έχει και άλλα πράγματα… όπως πχ θα ήθελα 10Gb network ή 4 intel 1Gb για link aggregation. Με 1 Intel και 1 Realtek δεν γίνεται.
Bottom Line, σταθερή, γρήγορα, αθόρυβη, μάλλον για πολλά χρόνια ο υπολογιστής μου για όλες τις δουλειές…
Μετά από τόσους μήνες χρήσης – τα προβλήματα μου είναι πως η μητρική θέλει οπωσδήποτε να τρέχει το dual intelligent processor και να είναι σωστά ρυθμισμένοι οι ανεμιστήρες γιατί αλλιώς ζεσταίνονται τα πάντα και έχει πρόβλημα- για παράδειγμα μόλις εκανα ένα update το dual intelligent processor και δεν πήρε τα προηγούμενα settings, και χωρίς να το καταλάβω υπερθερμάνθηκε ο υπολογιστής και σταμάτησε. Γιατί ; γιατί οι ανεμηστήρες ήταν ρυθμισμένοι μαλλον να δουλεύουν γρήγορα από από τους 70 βαθμούς και μετά – δεν ξέρω. Παρόμοιο θέμα έχω και με την asus graphics card.
Δεν σώνει δηλαδή πάνω στην μητρική τις ρυθμίσεις, αλλά θέλει το πρόγραμμα να τρέχει συνέχεια -
Πάντως ειναι απόλυτα σταθερό το σύστημα - ακόμη και με παιχνίδια στο full.
