It is an immortal processor. As many years pass, I have paired it with b450m 16gb 3600 ram and 1050ti, and it runs everything on medium high settings at over 50-60fps with very good temperatures

I upgraded from fx 8320 to Ryzen 3600 and I didn't expect that it would run games so well with an old graphics card like gtx1060. I will also add rtx4060 and write the news. I got it at a dirt-cheap price of 70 euros without a fan. Since the 5600 has almost double the price. The temperature with the stock cooler is around 80 to 85 degrees as it almost always works at 4000mhz.

I had given 185 something euros and I really didn't regret it at all, no matter how much it's worth in reality, I don't care. I was running GTA RP at 25 FPS MAX, CPU 100% with everything closed except Discord. I got this processor, and with whatever I want open, I haven't seen it go above 30%. Right now, I have GTA: San Andreas 1.0 open, 9 Chrome tabs, Viber, Telegram, and Steam, and it's at 4% CPU, on Windows 10.

I've had an awesome processor for 2 years now and it's proven to be a beast. It doesn't struggle with anything I throw at it, whether it's editing or music production. My system has never frozen during these types of tasks and I believe it will continue to serve me well for another couple of years.

*There's a version of this processor without a cooler for €120, I recommend getting that and spending a bit extra on a cooler. It'll be worth it and you'll have better cooling.

I bought the tray for €130, which is totally worth it! I also got an AIO with it and it never goes above 60 degrees (ignore the cables, it's my first build).

Bought 1.5 years ago for €180. The current price is overpriced not only due to the price increases in computer products, but also because the 5600x, which is on average 20% faster and next generation, is sold for €10 less. It is not justified to have a similar price. Of course, the 5600x is not an absolutely cost-effective purchase either, as there is the INTEL 12400 which is 6% worse but costs €205, which translates to a 35% lower price. Perhaps with the new drivers announced by AMD, we will see a significant rearrangement.

At 193 euros, I consider it to be the best processor you can get for a mid-range gaming PC.

It's no longer worth its money since there are cheaper and better alternatives: 11400f, 11500, 5600x that cover the price range both lower and higher. If it drops below €180, it's worth it. Otherwise, don't even consider it. It holds its value as long as there is stock and we are not properly informed about new releases.

This processor was dominant during the period of 2019-2020 and was worth getting without a second thought, but in 2021 it's no longer worth it because the 11400f is available for €180 and is much more modern and has better performance than the 3600. If it were cheaper, it would be worth considering, but at €200+, it's simply a waste of money for a processor that's 2+ years old.

I have had this specific processor for 1.6 years, and I can say that I am very satisfied. It is excellent for everyday use and can also be useful for professional programs. Together with a GeForce GTX 1660TI, it performs well in any game I have tried, even at 1440p resolution. The only problem I sometimes face is that I am using the stock cooler and it raises temperatures, so for anyone planning to purchase it, I recommend combining it with an after-market air cooler like the freezer 34 esports duo for better temperatures, maybe even for overclocking for those interested. The only thing I have done so far is to enable XMP on the memory at 3200MHz. Currently, I am a bit torn about whether it is worth buying because for 60-70 euros less, there is the equally powerful i5 10400f from Intel, which is now more valuable.

It's definitely worth the money. It doesn't get stuck on specific fps games. If I had a better graphics card, it would run crazy. I got it because I had an old AMD A series processor. I really wanted to change the processor because it would freeze when I drew (I draw through the Huion Display Pen, which is a tablet that connects to the computer) or when I did animation. For those who are 3D artists, I recommend something better, like Ryzen 7. Ryzen 5 is perfect for 2D artists/animators.

I have a very good processor and I haven't overclocked it. I've also added an Arctic duo cooler and I haven't seen it go above 67°C in any game I've played, and in some it doesn't go above 58°C.

On the first day I installed it, the temperature reached idle at 91°C. With some settings and changes to the power supply, I brought it down to idle at 65-75. I had to get an aftermarket cooler (be quiet shadow rock 3) and everything is fine now, it goes idle at 45-50 degrees and hardly reaches 80. It's a value-for-money processor, but if you get it, it's better to invest in a cooler.

Previously, I had the i5 4590K. Since it is an old processor, I decided to build a new PC to be up to date. This time, I wanted to see the power of AMD that everyone talks about. So, I bought the Ryzen 5 3600. 32GB Ram G.SKILL TRIDENTZ at 3200MHz. I have had the new PC for about 5 months now, and what I have to say is this. Easily one of the worst processors I have ever used. If I open: Node.js and serve a website along with an instance of VS Code, an instance of Visual Studio, and an instance of Photoshop, then the processor reaches 70% and Photoshop runs at 10FPS. I am seriously considering putting my old PC with the i5 4590K back, where I had all of these open plus an extra instance of Unity and Blender 3D, and everything ran incredibly. Never again AMD. Only good for custom GPU in PS4, PS5 is AMD.

Whoever buys it should also invest in a cooler for the processor because it's ready to catch fire.

I bought the 3600 for upgrading my work PC (sculpting in Blender, rendering, etc.). By setting the PBO's PPT to 65w, the computer ran at full load below 70 degrees Celsius in a warm room, without noise, with the factory cooler and excellent performance. All Zen2 and above processors benefit greatly from enabling PBO and adjusting the PPT according to the airflow available.

The case in which it was installed is a mini office tower from Deepcool with moderate airflow and only one 92mm fan for exhaust. The 17c in the second photo is not accurate, but the rest correspond to the temperatures I have seen in similar machines in the same space.

A fairly good processor. Strong in performance and very good for most games (even warzone)! The only thing that is not good is its heat, which can go up to 77-80 degrees...

I bought it for €154 without a cooler as I knew there would be temperature issues. The processor is the best value for money. It plays GTA V and Assassin's Creed Odyssey (with 1050ti) very satisfactorily and has no lag in applications. I haven't tried it for video editing and photo editing yet to give an opinion. The only problem, as mentioned above, is cooling. I have the Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim. Before I put the fan back in, it reached up to 82 degrees at full load. After I put the fan in, it reaches a maximum of 74 degrees. Obviously, with liquid cooling or a much better cooler, the problem is solved.

Awesome simply! I've had him for two months for using photoshop, premier, WordPress, and a little gaming on the weekend. He doesn't lag anywhere!! I can have photoshop and premier open together with Mozilla and around 10 tabs, and the processor writes 20 to 30% usage. I have him with a Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim and I have no problem! He can go oc up to 4.2 by himself, so he likes something that doesn't bother me, I've just left him free to do his thing. Definitely worth every last euro.

100 out of 100. I built a PC for my brother and it's flying with the 1050ti. It performs better in gaming than my own Ryzen7 3700x. However, for editing and Photoshop, the 3700 is better.

It is a very good processor (for the 178 euros I paid) and the cooler is good, but I prefer aftermarket.

At 185 euros including shipping, the processor I got is really good. With the stock cooler, it runs at around 60-65 degrees Celsius when idle and 70-75 degrees Celsius during light gaming (e.g. League of Legends). It performs really well for office work such as having multiple Excel files open, as well as for gaming with titles like Call of Duty, Valorant, and CS:GO where it reaches around 80-85 degrees Celsius. I overclock it with my own cooler. Additionally, the boost clock is really good on its own. Overall, for this price range, you can either go for an i5-10600k or this processor. In my opinion, the Ryzen 5 3600 is worth it.

Very efficient. Don't underestimate the 6 cores, it's great for editing. I'll update after testing it for 4K editing. Also, I don't understand why everyone is criticizing the cooler. I had 40 degrees idle and it went up to 60-something during games and then went back down. Of course, I haven't tried any serious games, but I want to say that for a stock cooler it's satisfactory. Of course, my case has very good airflow, so that's probably why.

If you don't mind that it doesn't support a graphics card on the motherboard, best choice for the money. Surprisingly fast!
