The Adco 07700 pantyhose apply graduated compression of 8–10 mmHg to the lower limbs and are primarily used to treat disorders of the venous or lymphatic system. The silicone band on the inside helps keep them in place.
They are used for venous conditions such as phlebitis, chronic venous insufficiency and venous edema, as well as for thromboembolic conditions and edema of lymphatic, pregnancy-related, post-traumatic or postoperative origin. The listed contraindications are advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease, septic phlebitis, blue painful inflammation and congestive heart failure.
Hand-wash daily, preferably with detergent for delicate garments. Do not wring; remove excess water by gently pressing the garment between two dry towels. Clean the silicone band daily with a damp cloth. Do not expose the pantyhose to direct heat or cold.
