Squirtle is a water-type Pokémon. It has a blue body with purple eyes, a slightly brown belly, and a red-brown toned hard shell on its back. It has a long, spiral tail.

When it withdraws its neck, it shoots a powerful stream of water from its mouth. Its shell protects its body and simultaneously reduces friction in the water.

A small turtle Pokémon, in times of danger, pulls its arms and legs into its shell to protect itself from enemy attacks.
