Aluminum Tape

Type 910 consists of a pure aluminum foil, which is coated on one side with an aggressive low-flexibility acrylic adhesive. The notable advantages of this adhesive are:

  • High bonding strength
  • Shear resistance
  • Good aging resistance

The adhesive side is covered with silicone paper, which serves as a release liner that must be removed before applying the tape. The tape does not oxidize or shrink, nor does it expand or accumulate static charges. Type 910 is water and vapor resistant, as well as resistant to diffusion and friction. Specification according to DIN 4102 Class B1.
