    Shovel Knight is a game that mimics the old platforms that were released on the NES. Its graphics are quite nice (for a game of its kind) and the sound is very good, as there are several music tracks that do not repeat. As for the gameplay, Shovel Knight is quite simple to handle, but its difficulty is increased. This does not mean that the game becomes unfair, it just requires the player to become better at how they play. The levels offer variety and are beautifully designed. Overall, I would recommend it to platform fans, others (like myself) may struggle a bit at first, but it is a very good game.
