Description

Description

This book presents a systematic philosophical analysis of selected Platonic and Aristotelian texts, which are positioned conceptually at the intersection of ethics and politics.

The aim of this analysis is to provide answers to the following questions regarding these texts: What philosophical interest do they present? How could they be understood as comprehensively as possible? What extensions do they allow for? More generally, in what way could they be presented as attempts by the two seminal Greek philosophers to illuminate broader ethical and socio-political issues?

The book has been written to assist educators in the philosophical approach and didactic utilization of the aforementioned texts; at the same time, it also targets a wider audience (students, individuals with intellectual interests, etc.) who would like to study some of the most significant philosophical texts of Ancient Greek literature in depth.
