The Dragon Legend edition showcases the most powerful side of the Highland Park distillery, as it is particularly intense and smoky. According to the myth, the warrior Sigurd gained magical powers by defeating a dragon, which inspired the name of this single malt whisky and its bold dramatic character.

The character is primarily based on slow maturation in European oak casks seasoned with sherry and with a higher ratio of Orkney peat malt. You will find notes of rich vanilla cream infused with warm winter spices, abundant sun-ripened lemons glazed with sweet heather honey, and clouds of aromatic peat smoke.

Intensely smoky and rich, this whisky pairs fantastically with grilled lamb chops garnished with fresh mint or alongside a creamy blue cheese.
